My cursor is seriously lagging on my Mac Mini using a Sharp external display.

I'm not talking about the lag that gamers talk about.

The lag is very apparent. It's smooth, not jittery. It doesn't skip around.

It just seems to be about a quarter to half second late.

I move the mouse, then the cursor follows after it.

The issue is also affects the clicking and scrolling.

I am using a wired USB Apple mouse, current edition.

Could this be a display issue? Maybe graphics card?

Any help is much appreciated!

Have you plugged in another USB-mouse and tried it out? Is your mouse plugged into the display or Mac USB-port? Have you tried another port? Which OS?

Similar problems...... I replaced the mouse.

I recently got my third in about nine years, so about 4 1/2 years per mouse. Dunno what brand the original was, nor my present one. The one between them was a Logitech. All wired, none cost more than $US 10.00.
