Hello Everyone. First time post. Love the website.
Back at the beginning of Nov, I was almost ready to order a new 15" Powerbook. I just happened to stumble on several websites (This one included), that just happened to be discussing the Powerbook / Display line issue.
Has anyone heard anything new on this? Have we confirmed that it's happening in a great majority of the 15" powerbooks? What is the rate of returns that Apple is allowing? (Unofficial recall)
I'm really torn now. I want a powerbook, but the Pre-October PB's are all gone (sold out of stock at all distributors), these have the screen issues, and the whole Intel-switch-maybe-in-January has me worried.
