Has anyone else noticed a big boost in the number of demi-gods and goddesses? Last year when I signed up there were no where near this many.

Yeah, we're breeding in there... and cloning new versions of ourselves by the hour. Doctor Q has the electrodes at the ready...

It's a good thing. Shows that people value the site.

Oh I totaly agree its a good thing, I was just reading the forum and I noticed ther are alot more demi gods then there are processor statuses. Also what is the difference between a demi god and contributor?

The contributors make the tea. The demis buy the biscuits.
Well, not really. The title 'contributor' is there as an alternative for people who feel may uncomfortable with a reference to a 'god' or simply prefer it for other reasons.

Also what is the difference between a demi god and contributor? Some members, for various reasons, aren't comfortable with the God/Goddess moniker. I think wdlove was one of (if not the) first to request 'Contributor' as an alternative.

also, remember that donating to the site was turned off for a while and thus no new demis were being added to the ranks for a awhile.

And because people don't seem to notice/realize/know-- you can choose to either: 1) be called a demi-god/goddess (this is the default when you contribute), 2) a contributor, or 3) choose to keep your original 'processor' rankings title.

Demis should have their title and processor rankings.
I'd like to see the fee be higher for demis and that gets you special access during big events when it's hard to access the site. I had to follow one event earlier this year (forget which one) on macteens.com.

Oh, I didn't know that. I like my title, it took me years. Maybe I'll subscribe after all.

it'd be interesting to see the rate at which people have been contributing, and how much it has increased do to certain activities.

I waited 4 years before contributing. If you come here often then you should most likely contribute. Plus you get warm and bubbly inside afterwards...
