Over the past few days, my 12" powerbook has felt like there is a small amount of current coming from the shell, especially from the area to the left of the trackpad. It's not a painful shock but you can definetly feel a small current. It's right where the harddrive is and I have had a few hd issues in the past but nothing recently. Has anyone out there ever heard of this happening? I don't have apple care so I don't anticipate a lot of help from apple. Thanks in advance.

It is quite normal.. generally it comes and goes, probably a loose connection somewhere inside that momentarily got knocked loose and it in contact with the casing.
