I believe they typically announce it the morning of the event, if they intend to stream it.

It seems like it's going to be a busy event. My gut says it will be streamed.

The point is if it is uploaded after the fact then its not being streamed live so its not a live stream. Its just a prerecorded stream.

Not LIVE, AS LIVE. There's a difference. Oh, and to pick on your statement, technically you can't prerecord something, just as you can't preboard a plane. It's a stream recorded earlier, with no edits, therefore AS, or the same AS, live.

Another way of putting it is like sports events which get a full unedited Re Run as live.

The UK used to do that with Sports coverage that happens late at night and they would re play it as live around lunch time the next day.

Now days they tend to not do that though and only do extended highlights or the main coverage is as it was but the pre and post bits are edited down for time.

Apple notify about a live streaming a couple of hours before the start of the event. No way to know it otherwise.

There is no difference in that sense. Either its streamed live or it's not. If its broadcast after the event has happened then its not a live stream as the event is already over. If its recorded earlier and then broadcast then its not live as it technically can't be.

If you have an Apple TV, turn it on about an hour before the event starts. If Apple is streaming it, there should be a "Apple Events" icon in the TV menu.

Really great way to watch it, if it's there.

Christian today?

Who knows, not a website I frequent - it just came up top of the list when I Googled 'Apple events' or something so I clicked on it! :)

Just interested that it mentioned London and possible Safari stream...

Lol yea were all pulling for strings here if its getting streamed out of country why not the US and those of us without an invite?

Don't rule it out just yet. We usually don't know until the 'Apple Events' channel turns up on Apple TV about an hour before the keynote starts.

October events just popped up on ATV
Watch the special event held at the Yerba Buena Center 10 am (Pacific)
When you click on it says tune in to watch live

As in the 2013 one (I guess it just says waiting; until it starts). So does this mean I can watch apples livestream on my mac?
