Seems that support for Expresscard SSDs is missing under Mavericks. Anyone have any insight into why/when this will be fixed?

Wintec 128GB ExpressCard SSD missing
Same problem here with a Wintec 128GB SSD in the ExpressCard slot. Verified as working on two other Mountain Lion 17" MBPs and by booting my machine to Mountain Lion. Would like to know if this is an oversight by Wintec / manufacturers or by Apple in their OS. Has anyone heard of other ExpressCard devices not working, or is it just SSDs?

I'm seeing the same thing with an expresscard-to-esata adaptor. Works when booted into Windows but no dice in Mavericks.
