I noticed that the Recovery Disk Utility gives me an option to "fix" my SSD and data HDD by making them a fusion drive. It warns both disks will be erased in the process. Has anyone tried this? Will it just fuse them and then I have to fresh install 10.9 on the new fused drive? Is it worth it?

My guess it would only be used for if someone installed a SSD & a hard drive maybe use this and it would download another Mavericks (over the wireless network) and install it. Maybe if someone had a Time Machine it would use that upon the reinstall.
