Is my Time Machine doing a full hard disk backup again?

On October 10th, I did a full hard disk backup. Today (October 23/2013) I'm trying to do a backup via Time Machine before upgrading to Mavericks. At first TM said the 0 out of 5.6GB backed up. Eventually it hit the 5.6GB mark but it kept going and isn't stopping. In the last 13 days I did not add anything significant that would warrant an extra 56GB backup after I already did the full hard disk backup. Here are some screenshots. tm screenshot.jpg
