Why can't Apple figure out how to properly index the iTunes shared video library? In iOS6 and below, if you didn't maintain a static library iniTunes, you would very quickly end up with videos icons in iOS showing previewing long since deleted videos.

iOS7 seems to have resolved that issue, but it tends to keep icons for non existent videos around for many days after they have been deleted, with no clear way to refresh the index. Anyone know a workaround for this that doesn't involve turning home sharing off and back on (this only works sporadically).

Video here. The window on the left is 'Airserver' showing my iPhone 5S displayed being mirrored via AirPlay.
