I installed Mavericks and everything is working fine. Perfectly in fact. Decided to open up disk utility and check permissions as I do before and after a OS install.

I got this one,

Group differs on “Library/Java”; should be 0; group is 80.Permissions differ on “Library/Java”; should be drwxr-xr-x ; they are drwxr xr-x .

I don't have Java installed, as far as I know.. I don't need it. Is this something I should be concerned about?

You probably did have Java Installed and didn't notice it. Many, many, many applications use it. You would be surprised how many do. Its probably nothing to worry about :)

1. OS X may contain library folder for Java, even if Java isn't currently installed.
2. Don't worry about Repair Permissions messages. They are meaningless.
