Could be. There are two other songs that have me scratching my head this morning ... part of the lyrics are "Hey Jude" and "I Saw Her Standing There." I'll let you know if the titles come to me as the day progresses. :)

And I can't find any of them on iTMS. Can't be that well known then. :D

it sounds like the Beatles song, I Am The Walrus.
I heard Jim Carey do a cover of it for a George Martin tribute album. He does it pretty well
EDIT: haha not george harrison, goes to show just how much i know my music history. Cheers to stridey for pointing out my error :p

Also covered by Oingo Boingo.
If you get really drunk, ALL of Oasis' songs sound like "I am the Walrus."

I heard Jim Carey do a cover of it for a George Harrison tribute album. He does it very well.
Actually the Jim Carey cover was for George Martin's (The Beatles' producer) last album. :)
OP, please tell me you're joking. The Beatles are only the single most influential rock band in history.

maybe you're thinking of "The call me the walrus" by the Dead Milkmen. :)
I know I'll catch hell for saying this....but I like them better than the Beatles.

Plenty of outstanding music exists from all the different genres, but I agree that there is no equal to the Beatles. I loved their sound when I first heard it in the 60's and can honestly say my appreciation for the superb legacy they left has only increased over the decades. There is a freshness, vibrancy and vitality to it that does not quit.
