Mavericks Finder Stalls - smb_rq_reply failed 60

After installing Mavericks on two Macs on the same network, one Mac's Finder locks up when trying to access a particular drive on the other networked Mac.

The finder has a spinning pinwheel that can only be resolved by a full power down restart.

The Console log reads:

Every 60 seconds this repeats.

Any ideas on how to resolve? This seems to be related to a lot of the smb issues being seen with Maverics.

This issue was resolved by turning off "Share files and folders using smb" in the options menu under "file sharing" in the system preferences.
