Solution .... (hopefully)

Had the same problem.
After having a chat with the support of EWallet (really fast nice guys) the provided the following solution:

Be sure to Completely close eWallet on the Mac. Once eWallet is completely closed, open Finder, then use the Go menu and select "Go to folder..." and type in this path (including the ~ (tilde) character):

~/Library/Containers/com.iliumsoft.eWallet.mac/Data/Library/Preferences/

and click "go". Your Finder will open to the Preferences folder. Inside this Preferences folder, locate the file called:

com.iliumsoft.eWallet.mac.plist

Then please delete the "com.iliumsoft.eWallet.mac.plist" file from your preferences folder.

Start EWallet - it should work

Cheers

Thomas

eWallet and Mavericks

Yes, this is a temporary workaround while we investigate.

While this "solution" will work for many users, for some it may not work, or may only resolve the problem temporary. We are trying to get to the root of the issue, so we have been collecting crash reports, and having users test various scenarios to give us more information.

If you are having a problem, and this is not working for you, please do contact us! Although we don't actually use chat, you can reach us here:

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies, nice to see Illumsoftware are on the ball:)

Ive tried the method above and its now working, it did crash again on the first attempt, but all seems ok now. Fortunately I also have the app on my iPhone so I could still access my details.

Many thanks everyone.

Waiting for update to post

Great news! We sent an update with the fix for this issue up to Apple mid-day Tuesday. We are just waiting for them to review it.

Even if you are no longer having a problem, we recommend you install the Mac eWallet update, when it comes out.

Updated version of eWallet for Mac now available

As I'm sure many of you have noticed, the eWallet update for Mavericks users is available through the Mac App Store.

We are hearing that sometimes just updating eWallet does not resolve the problem. You can find complete instructions here:
