Hi Everyone,

I have amazed 22GB of App's in my iTunes folder. It is a bit excessive, considering I only have about 3GB of Apps on my iPhone. I tend to download apps when they become free for a day, like travel apps for 'someday'. It is my understanding that if I where to delete them, I could re-download them at anytime in the future, because I already 'purchased' them (free or paid) as far as iTunes is concerned.

Is this correct? Are there any circumstances where I would not be able to re-download the apps, like an update of the app?

Thanks!

I also do this, I download a app I think Ill use in the future. But if you download it and delete it you can always redownload it for free

App Store - Updates - Purchases at the top

Even if the app is taken off the App Store you can still redownload it

Also if you redownload it comes with the latest update, not the update on when you downloaded it

The only time you might run into an issue as if Apple or the developer removes an app from the app store.
