Hi hi.

Im very much form over function.. Set a whole heap of new icons for my dock in Mavericks.

Its not often that I don't know the date.. Generally only after a big weekend.

Is there anyway I can set the calendar.app icon to NOT display the current date/day in the dick?

Im just wanting a plain old icon that doesn't have the overlay of the day.

Thanks in advance.

I too have been unsatisfied with the various Calendar icon replacements.

Why is the overlay always on angle?

Is there no way to change the implementation of the overlay?

I suppose I'd be willing to give up the dynamic aspect of the icon for the cleaner design if that were possible.

Hello,
I reopen the discussion...

Is possible to NOT display the current date on Yosemite Calendar icon (or in Fantastical 2 icon) ???

Please help us to fix that!

In /Applications/Calendar.app/Contents/Resources/ move Calendar.docktileplugin to the trash. Run killall Dock in Terminal and this should give you the generic July 17 calendar icon instead of the current date.
