Hi,
on Mavericks I have a problem with my printer. It is HP PSC 1510. It work great on (upgraded 10.9) 10.8 and 10.7. But now on clean install of mavericks it has basic functions because of option "generic plc printer". I cannot find software because option "auto select" is disabled.
I attached print screen of that situation.
Any ideas how to make my printer more advanced?

Have you installed the printer software - 1500_772_EN.dmg, available from hp.com? Maybe you had that driver installed before upgrading to 10.7, 10.8, and then to 10.9, and each upgrade inherited the installed driver. It's originally for 10.2.8, but the fact that it did work with the upgrade to 10.9 indicates it is compatible with Mavericks.
