HELLO , im new to the mac technology but im hoping to leave this post with some knowledge if you guys may .
now i understand boot camp no longer supports XP on the 4.0.4 version and above . But to my understanding there's a loophole that involves swapping disk (after the partitioning takes place | before the instillation )
long story short ive basically created a win 7 usb with the macbook pro mid 2012 i believe .then swapped it out before the installation for an xp disk (dont believe it was OEM ) . THIS let me fully install XP .
BUT upon startup XP informs me that my ( ACPI ... i forget the rest, may not be fully compatible ) What am i missing ? . all disk and materials used were ripped iso's etc .
