Generic icons since Mavericks

I did a clean install of Mavericks on my imac and now for some apps I am getting a generic icon. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? It's appearing for my Office icons, Skype and some stuff I've downloaded but not all.

I've had a lot of icon problems too. It comes and goes though. Just a few seconds ago it was with my trashcan. When I deleted something it didn't fill up. I've had that a few times too. I have no idea what to do about it though. At least you and I aren't the only ones!
