Youtube: Search not returning any results

I just installed youtube on my new iPad air and when I search no results are returned. I have tried everything - the function does not seem to work.

Have you experienced this? And how do I solve it?

It's strange. It works on my iPhone 5S but not in my iPad air... Yeah, it must be YouTube then.
