Anybody having message search issues in spotlight?

Many a time when I search I get no results in the messages app or via spotlight even when the search term is correctly entered. Anybody knows how I can reindex?

This was something I was hoping they would fix in iOS 6 then ios 7 but no dice :-(.

My messages show up in my search results but when I click it it doesn't go to that specific SMS and only goes to the newest SMS in the thread. I know the message isn't deleted because I can scroll up and find it but it's very annoying especially for older messages. Apple still hasn't added an option to reindex. #
