iChat refuses to connect after upgrade to Tiger

I'm at my wits end. It just does not connect inspite of changing port numbers.

What did i do wrong? All I did was run the upgrade.

*sigh* Please help. 😕

i did the permissions... but still not connecting. what more can i try?

Solution

ok, i figured out why it was causing the problems...

1. the port number needed to be changed
2. the antivirus virex that needed to be uninstalled.

the video improved and it works 🙂
