Hello,

We have a MacBook Air (purchased in 2012) and due to whatever decision was made from higher up, Windows 7 was only OS installed (why they didn't purchase a PC is beyond me...). Everything installed fine and was working without issue. Recently that computer was reimaged so that it can be given to someone else. Everything went fine. Once it was rebooted however, the keyboard stopped working. A USB keyboard was plugged in, and all of a sudden the keyboard on the MacBook Air was working again.

Is there a reason for this? It is just a matter of "waking up" the keyboard on the MacBook Air? It doesn't make sense to me.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
