Arizona Daily Star Reports that Superior Court Judge John Kelly blocked the release of police video that depicts Ross at her arrest in order to consider the motion by her attorney that the release of the video would deprive Ross the right to a fair trial.

The officer asked the woman, identified as the 58-year-old singer, if she'd been drinking and Ross said, "No."

"I got lost, I was just trying to get here to rent a video," she said. "I can't remember where Canyon Ranch is but I knew where Blockbuster was."

The officer also noted that during her failed walk and turn test, Ross said: "Ha Ha Ha Great."

The report contains copies of Ross's tests, in which she recites the alphabet as: "A B C C D E F G H J K L L M O P Q R S S T U V W X Y Z" and, when asked to write even numbers from two through 30, writes: "1 2 3 4 5 6 3 8 9 90 10 11 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 31 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30."

This gets a thumbs down why? Good job judge IMO. The evidence and trial should be in the court room, not on the 6 o'clock news.

I can see them talking about it on the 6 o'clock news but they shouldn't have the video, if anyone has ever watched those cop shows where they arrest people on TV the criminal's faces and license plates are always pixelated, if everyone new who it was then it wouldn't be fair to that person who was arrested, the jusry should get the facts from the trial not the news.

What I don't get is how the release of this video would deprive her of the right to a fair trial? The camera doesn't lie. It allows insight to the events that took place.

But I also don't think the media could handle something like that without plastering it all over the 6 o'clock news and front pages, so in that regard I agree.
