I have a slightly used xbox 360 premium that I'm also thinking about getting rid of. It's the one w/ the hard drive, media remote, wireless controller, xbox live headset, ect. It's in mint condition. I have the box and all acc. for it also.

^^^yeah right....sometimes people on macrumors are so cheap...it costs $50 just to ship the thing, nevermind the tax on the item which is probably at least $20 worth....that's $470 worth right there....cmon...i say you should probably try to sell this on ebay...used or not you'll still probably get at least $150 profit there

well, It def wont cost $50 to ship it, thats really high, it cost me $66 to send a Powermac G5+17" LCD from vermont to california W/ insurance and it weighed almost 70lbs and the box was huge. I'd say $30ish for shipping, and he just said $450, that coulda been $450+shipping, and remember, this is used, so not only would he get $50, but he also got a month of use

How much are you looking to get? I'd love to get a 360, but I'd rather wait a month or two if I'm going to have to pay a huge premium to get one. I'd see paying $100 over sticker, but not much more than that, especially for a used one.

In all honesty, if you're looking to make a lot of money, you might have good luck on eBay. I just hate selling/buying on eBay.

You're not going to get people on here to spend more then say $500 for the unit, we are cheap and are all very aware of the market and product values. If you're looking to cash in, eBay is definitely the road to take.

Additionally, rumor has it Best Buys will be stocked this Sunday. I forgot that when this was first listed I offered $500 for it.

I think it's been established that nobody here is going to pay $600 plus shipping. If you want to gouge that much go to ebay, pay your $10 listing and final value fees and be on your merry way. Unlike bid happy idiots on ebay, we know what stuff here is worth.

doesnt the worth of something depend on the value of the item to the person? that means it's relative....used or not it's worth more than $450....and I dont know what shipping service that other dude used for a powermac, but where im from if you ship basic ups it costs $50 at least to ship a cpu other than a mac mini-I know because I've had to ship things

...things might be different in vermont though...that's a unique green place...

...anyway, you probably should go on ebay to sell it not because people here know the worth of the 360 but because a lot of people on here are cheap...this is macrumors...90% of these people hate microsoft...i'd be surprised if you got even retail on here...

...and as for the best buy shipment...i'll be that in most places they'll still be sold out within an hour if it even takes that long-everybody knows about the new stock

The point of the BB mention is that there are fewer and fewer people willing to pay tons of money above sticker for this. When you first got it, you wanted more than $700 for it, only got $615 through eBay. Now you want $600 for it. Since this is a feeler thread, I can tell you I don't think you're going to get your $600 for it. Every day these are dropping in value as more and more consoles get shipped. Add to that the number of used consoles that will soon be available, whether through Best Buy or somewhere else. I won't be at BB first thing in the morning, it isn't worth it to me. I'll wait several months, probably, until the supply can meet the demand.

Having said all that, what's the point of even trying to sell it here? You should easily get $600 on eBay.

This is NOT worth $600. Stores are now having them in stock so they are worth less than $450 nowadays. Its used, anybody can get them, try asking for way less than $600.
