Inspiration for this avatar came from the wonderful example that adorns emw's avatar space, with his being network utility.

Hopefully this is a tasteful impression as it fits me well being both a car guy, and a Mac user :)

Ooo that's cool. But, I was kind of expecting the meter to go all the way to the right and go back and forth a bit. As if you were going full speed or something. Still though, very cool :)

I just wanted the main gauge to stop (near) were the actual icon did. I also tried to make it cleaner, however then the size would have been too large to post in the contest. I don't have professional tools, and my Photoshop (actually Gimp in my case) skills are quite sub par. I won't go into how much time I put into that, it makes me want to cry :( .

I don't plan on winning anything, I just wanted to participate :)

I was afraid to look at what your comment was, but I decided to look at it today (It is hard to operate a mouse with crossed fingers!)

I am thinking about trying an other, but I doubt I will have time to complete it :(
