Hi All,

I have recently added a second display to my Mac mini (late 2012) running OS X 10.9 Mavericks. My original display uses the HDMI-DVI connector supplied with the Mac mini. My second display uses a third party Thunderbolt/Mini display - HDMI connector (which in turn is connected to the display with an HDMI-DVI cable).

When the Mac is running, these displays work exactly as they should (though the delay on the dock switching from one to the other is frustrating and seemingly random - sometimes instant, sometimes not). When I switch on after a shutdown, however, it seems to have completely free will over which display the login window will appear on. As I have one display directly in front of me and one off to the side, this is a little frustrating. Not the end of the world - but not "right" either.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance!
