Asus PA279Q Monitor

Any feedback and/or did you already get it?

Considering this myself.

I have had the Dell 2713H for a week, but returned it. Two issues were discovered. Something with color due to 10/14 bit incompatibility, and when it was connected there were something that halted OSX (at least mouse and trackpad movements) every 1/2 second.
Nice Apple supporters found an article from Dell, stating that MAC compatibility are never tested on Dell monitors.

I am also interested in this amazing monitor (matte screen - lovely) and what the connectivity is like with the MacBook Pro Retina (Late 2013)?

Anyone have this beauty and what are your best port connections for full resolution?

For serious photo editing or other graphics work, make sure it is wide gamut (Adobe RGB) not narrow gamut sRGB. Then be sure to get a color calibrating tool such as a Spyder or Colormunki to calibrate the monitor and maybe your color printer.

Great. But remember that monitors drift. Color calibrate before editing and printing anything important.

Yes, it's compatible with MacBook Pro.

For me, it makes this monitor perfect.

I'm considering this monitor myself, I've just checked out the amazon comment and it turns out there is now a follow-up comment with a simple solution to the problem, forcing mac os x to see the monitor as a monitor, not as a television, allowing RGB modes.
