A friend of mine made a DVD, with iDVD, of my grandmother's 90th birthday. I'd like to make a copy of it. How do I do that? Is it doable?

Yes it is, just click copy and you should be all set. If you have Toast (5,6,7) it will do the same thing.
the slow way and the fast way
the slow way is to use apple's disc utility software... not terribly difficult, but 10 steps. they have tech notes on their web pages.
the fast way is to use popcorn or any version of toast. one-step.
