I think I can just about understand compilations....
If I have an album by Joe Blogs (Called ALBUM1);
9 tracks by Joe Blogs,
3 tracks by Joe Blogs featuring Steve Smith,
I set the album artist to be Joe Blogs,
don't tick compilation
That makes Joe Blogs available to select on my iphone as well as the ablum (ALBUM1) available as a selection.
If I have an album (Called ALBUM2)
6 tracks by Joe Blogs
6 tracks by Steve Smith
I set album artist to Various Artists
tick compilation
Neither artist show and neither does ALBUM2
So how do I put the album on my iphone? Without doing something stupid with Genre.
