$40 ground shipping isn't so bad compared to the majority that are charging $50. ;)

it sucks that there are people out there who actually try to pull scams like this and sometimes even get away with it.

I don't think he was trying to sound like a jerk, its just that you didn't answer the question...

People really do this these days, he was just trying to clarify... Nothing to take offense about.

what do you want me to do? open it and take a picture of what's inside of it? oh wait, that will make the condition 'USED' and it will no longer be FACTORY SEALED. durrrrrrr

........

come on people. it's factory sealed, brand new, never been opened. i know there are scammers out there but jeez, c'mon. i'm not some 0 feedback seller who registered yesterday.

give me a break.

jacking up the shipping price is a good way to get some of your $$ back after ebay/paypal take their cuts. I'm guilty of it, too....At least you know in advance. It'd be different if you found out after the purchase. (Caveat Emptor or at least that's my best guess at spelling things in Latin)

$10 to ship????? Where do you go? I'd like to group ship something that weighs close to 18 lbs. (which was its weight when i shipped a 360 last week) for that price!!

the shipping quotes actually go up slightly near the holidays due to the fact that there are so many people sending packages all around the world.

Anyone else find it EXTREMELY hysterical that the receipt says "$440" however people are willing to pay FAR more than that? I mean wow seriously. Strikes me as a "You F**king moron" moment.

Good luck selling this! Auction is about to end!

I actually thought it would go for much more. It strikes me more as supply vs. demand.

True, you have to sensible about it. I've seen rediculously low priced Buy It Now items with equally rediculously priced shipping. Going out with the intention of bilking the public is bad. But making one extra dollar per sale can go a long way if you're a high volume seller.

the guy who won the auction emailed me shortly after the auction had ended. i gave him my phone number and he called me. very nice guy. at first, he was going to pay for the 2-day shipping for $75 but then he had an idea that he could get a co-worker who works here in dallas to bring the cash in hand to pick it up. NICE!

he called me back to confirm and a guy by the name of Juan is going to meet me at my work tomorrow to exchange the cash for the 360.

gotta love it!
