MR doesn't like Photobucket?

Does MR have issues with Photobucket? I cannot for the life of me get an animated avatar working on this site from Photobucket, and yet I can paste it into a new tab and the avatar plays fine in that new tab.

Well first off, the avatar can be no bigger than 75x75, the animated gif is 80x80, it says 20k on my computer so you should be good on that and second, try downloading it to your computer and uploading it from there. Try using this resized one instead, its within the limits:

True...I also use Photobucket. But correct me if I'm wrong... when you make an image your avatar, whether you upload a file directly from your computer or you paste in a URL, the file that is actually used for the avatar is still downloaded by the MR server and still stored there. Photobucket doesn't get used after the first upload. If you look at your avatar's URL on this page, it's here at MR and not at Photobucket.

That's different, of course, from some other forum systems....
