hi, please can someone tell me how i can burn movies that are in .avi and .mpeg format onto dvd so i can watch them on a dvd player connected to a tv?

i know that iDVD can do this but the problem is that the movies are over 120mins (the max length for dvd) so any help anyone please? the longest film is like 200 mins...please some1!!!

I know Roxio Popcorn will compress a movie in a 'TS_Video' folder to fit a single DVD. I don't know if it can work with .mpeg etc. though.
