ExpanDrive 3 affecting other file handing performance?

Anyone have experience with ExpanDrive?

...I'm finding with connected to anything, local performance in PathFinder is trashed. Not even dealing with the mounted remote volume.

Sending something to the trash takes 30-40 seconds instead of instant, and PathFinder is locked up after a few seconds as well, until the action completes.

Unmount the ExpanDrive mounted share and it's back to what it should be.
