I have an svg file containing a dozen special music-related symbols that I would like to be able to import into Mac and access via the character palette or keyboard. Is there anyway to do this please? My intention is to use them as above-the-stave text in abcnotation software so they are not specific to a particular app but just need to accessible like any letters or characters on the keyboard.
I realise now that I also have the symbols in dfont type which may make things easier but still need to know how to import/install them.
