One of the most annoying things about networking with Windows is the Mac's inability to "re-mount" network volumes. My PowerBook and Dell laptops are practically the same machines: I am always transferring or working on files across the two machines. However, when I have to reboot either machine, the Windows share disappears from the Finder but doesn't re-mount. On Windows, Explorer has the "Reconnect at Log-on" option, so I can always see my Mac share.

Is there a tool that will enable OS X (10.4) to reconnect to shares automatically?
