iPod How does... (iPod display songs without an artist or album)

How does an ipod diplay songs that don't have an artist or album listed? like when i choose a song thru artist mode or album mode
 
i dont know for sure but either the ipod makes an "Unknown" artist and album listing. Or (most likely) it does not list the song in the artist and album list, only in the song list.
