So, I've set my Macbook Air to have six different "spaces/screens". I.e., if I hold command + 1, I have my e-mail, if I hold command + 2, I have the browser, etc.

Since I've updated to Mavericks, my screens keep...moving. Now, when I hold command + 1, it's sometimes my e-mail, but then it'll change to my browser or Skype screen for some reason.

I want them locked in on their spaces - like the way they were before the update.

Anyone have any idea re: how to fix this?

There is a setting in system preferences to keep spaces organized by most recent use. You need to make sure that it is off. Then you just need to organize the spaces as you want them and they will always stay that way.
