Hi all. I am trying to help a friend get her laptop up and running again after performing a software update. I'm not 100% sure on which version of OSX she had before the update but I know she has a unibody MacBook Pro without the removable battery.

She said there was an iTunes update but she did a full system update (all updates that were available) and ended up getting an error message after the reboot. The computer seems to be frozen and any time you try to restart it or reset the SMC controller. She is in another state so I'm trying to help her over the phone when I can. I'm attaching a screen shot of what the computer says when she restarts it.

Any information to help get her MacBook up and running again will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read this! :)
