ok i looked around....not very much...but i can't find out how to get video's NOT purchased on the music store onto my new ipod, i know it HAS to be a simple answer but i just don't get it, i thought all i had to do was import them into itunes 😕

Import them into iTunes just like you would a song, synch up and your done.
The videos must be 320 x 240 or less in resolution. (can be converted with QT pro)
