This thread pertains to anything related to Netflix. Give movie reviews on movies you just watched. Let everyone know if the movie is worth watching, or not. If you notice a new release being posted on Netflix, post it here. Having trouble with Netflix? Post it here. OK, you get the idea....

----------

Recently I watched these movies that were actually very good on Netflix.

Blue Ridge Fall - Similar to Tom Cruise's "All The Right Moves" starring Peter Fascinelli.

Get The Gringo - Good action flick with "Mad" Mel Gibson

Deadfall - Edgy suspenseful crime drama with Olivia Wilde, Eric Bana.

Jeff, Who Lives At Home - Surprisingly good comedy with Jason Segal and Ed Helms!

Waiting For Forever - Touching coming of age love story.

Are these movies in USA or Canada. As you may know, there is a difference in movies offered in each country.

Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. These are Netflix movies I watched in the USA. I didn't know there was a different selection of movies in other countries. My bad.

"Beavers and Ducks!"

Just watched "Bandits" with Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton last night. I can't believe I caught a Bruce willis movie from 2001 that I've never seen before. And it was actually an entertaining bank robber movie!

:D :D :D :D

Post Play, while not for everyone, would be a nice OPTION

Maybe a setting you can adjust in your watch list or cue. Set to either play next episode or sequel (if a movie) or next production by that director. Or set to play the next item in your watch list/cue.

A big help would be to enable an OVERALL watch list or cue that spans your LIST in all services (iTunes, Netflix, Hulu+, PBS, Podcasts App, etc.)

And a search for content similar to Tivo's that reveals what service something is on, if it's for sale, rent or streaming with Cable/Satellite account or free would be a much desired feature. Make money off each service for highlighting that availability in that Search result.

I'm in the US so when I say foreign, I mean non US.

On netflix, the foreign movies and TV shows are a hidden gem. Many US users never even check them out. You need to turn on the subtitles to understand what is being said.

We have enjoyed many Chinese, Scandinavian, Thai, Korean, Indian, Spanish, other European and Asian shows over the last 2 years. I won't tell you what to watch but go to the foreign section of netflix and just search for the highest rated foreign movies & TV shows... pick the ones that strike your fancy, sit back and enjoy.

I will tell you how this started... I wanted to watch an old Bruce Lee movie. Found it, watched it and it pointed me to some other Karate movies to watch. Watched IP MAN. That let to Ip Man 2 and the Man from Nowhere and The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo Extended Version Triology (Swedish version), The Man from Bejing (Swedish)... etc.

While I'm at it. An excellent Canadian show (on BBC America) to check out (season 2 starts on 19th April) is called Orphan Black. You want to see a strong female lead and some real acting (she so far has played 6 different characters with as may as 3 on the screen at the same time) check it out.

Hi-Ya!!

Good tips xlii !! I watched The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo, the foreign version. I did enjoy it very much. I think they spoke English in it, but I can't remember for sure.

I did watch that "Canoe" Reeves foreign flic called The Tai fu Man, or something. It was foreign language film, and I didn't know that I could add subtext to it. Now I know I can, thanks!

I just watched "Lay The Favorite" with Rebecca Hall, Bruce Willis, Catherie Zeta-Jes, and Vince Vaughn. A great Las Vegas "true story" gambling movie!!

"Management" with Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn, another entertaining comedy!

Orange is the New Black wasn't bad. I avoided it like crazy until I couldn't find anything else to watch. When my wife walked by, she thought I was watching porn because of all the nudity.

Post Play

I'd like to see the next release add post play as a selectable settings option.
I personally would like it and would make a safe assumption some would like to turn it off on settings.
