What can I delte safely to make more room or speed up Tiger? I noticed there is lots of stuff on printers... what can I do?
 
There are a few apps out there that will help you remove extra stuff from OS X. The main things to remove are extra printer drivers and language files for languages you're never going to use. I think Delocalizer is the name of one that will remove language files for you.

Deleting printers, lanugarges etc. may save room on the drive but won't speed up ordinary operation of the OS (about the only thing it would fractionally speed is searching, indexing and repairing permissions).
 
Get Delocalizer from Bombich.com for removing the language kits.
As for speeding Tiger up, I really haven't seen any sure-fire method for doing do. At least not that I've proven myself. As for the languages "slowing" Tiger, that's not really true, but you CAN save the space mentioned.
 
Yes, as long as you leave the files for your make of printer - you select from a list alll those you want to remove.

Thanks ,but now that I am using it, I am lost. What do all of these things mean? Can someone guide me on how to do this? It takls about repairing files, how do I just get rid of useless printer files?
 
To remove all the extra printer stuff, could I just go into Finder, search "printer drivers", and then drag the .pkg printer drivers to the trash?
