I have some programming experience and currently write a lot of automated scripts for QA testing so I have some background in development. I stumbled upon an X code teaching tool (Polemics Xcode Academy) in the apps storethat runs on the iPad. They look like decent apps but only have a couple reviews.

Any thoughts on this type of teaching app? Thanks!

hasn't been updated for ios7 yet... I'd stay away from it, the Big Nerd Ranch Guide is updated for iOS 7 already.. it's a great book or ebook.

I just heard that Lynda.com has been updated for iOS7 as well. You can get 1 week free too, so you could get a good look into it without paying.

Most books and such should be updated pretty soon if not already.
