Hi,

I am thinking about grabbing a mac mini today. I know i can upgrade the RAM and HDD, but what about the CPU? Is it replaceable?
How much RAM is the max for the latest mac mini?

Thanks

You cannot upgrade the CPU, as it is soldered onto the logic board. Only in the very first intel minis could you upgrade the CPU, as they were socketed.

As far as RAM, the latest mini maxes out at 16GB

Concerning the HDD, stock model comes with one HDD, server model comes with two. In any case it is possible to get to the HDD and switch those. It is however quite some work and not very easy as you have to take about everything out and you should be very careful while disconnecting cables.
