Greetings All...

Any advice for someone (not me, yet... :D ) who's travelling to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and surrounding area with a Mac Mini (w/KB-M-M) and a PB?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Why does he need both of them? Unless the trip is more than just traveling through. No other advice than the normal travel stuff though. That is, protect everything/keep an eye on your stuff in case of theft.

AND...don't drink the water :p

I have no idea what type of plug is used in ethiopia, but obviously you'll need some adapters.

If you can travel with the weight (or purchase on-location) a battery back up power supply is a good investment to protect the machine(s) from any power problems.

Thanks Guy for the info and the links, I'll make sure to pass it on...

I had the same question, He's going to leave the Mac Mini (KB-M-M) there.

Indeed! I told him to get some suitcase locks and all that good stuff!

Once again, THANKS MR, and everyone have a safe 2006!

Peace!
