Opening RAW files in CS1

That was added with the Camera Raw update this past September ... for CS2 only

try nikon capture. it's nikon's own raw processing software, and it should support your camera. it's a 30 day trial and the full version's $100, but if you're getting cs2 next week anyway the trial should be all right.

if you go to adobe.com and go to the support/downloads page, you can dload the plug in for raw files for cs1. It came out in January of '05. So take a look there and then follow the directions on where to place the plug-in. You dont need cs2 to look at your RAW files.
