Clear History of Windows Media Player???

Guys,
I can't do this.
I'm using the WMP9.0 at the moment.
hav tried to go to
HD>Library>Preferences>Windows Media Player Pref
but can't find this folder ......

please help!!!! 😛

Go to ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.mediaplayer.plist. The "~" represents your account. You can just search for the file named com.microsoft.mediaplayer.plist.
 
what should i do with the .plist??

I'm still waiting for your tips of the clearing history of WMP.
i've got the .plist,
but should I delete it?
it's just a single file thing but not a folder in which i can find
the video clips ......

I just scare that something bad will happen if I just delete the .plist ...
but after a second thought,
the worst is that i'll lose the WMP, right?
but what'll I lose if the WMP itself can be downloaded for free???

Rereading, it's clear that emptying the file history was only part of the problem. He wants to find the stray pr0n files too. 😀

It looks like you're going to have to do a 35x zero overwrite of your HD. How tech savvy is your wife?

You might even have to pulverise your HD and seal it in a capsule lead weight it and take a deep sea ocean cruise.

Not only that but also

~/Library/Preferences/Windows\ Media\ *

Make sure you use the above path just like it is or go into Finder and delete the files that way. Otherwise, you risk deleting files you don't want to delete.
