A connecting to a mac share from windows question

From my PC, i can connect to my home drive on my mac, In windows explorer I type \\powerbook\tobio then it asks for my password and I'm in.

BUT...

can anyone tell me how I can map a drive to the external external hard drive on my mac? it's called WD USB 2 and I can't figure it out :-(

What if you just connect to " \\powerbook\" ?

If that doesn't work, I'd guess that Windows won't support it. But try connecting to the \\powerbook\ and see if it lists shares.

Using Mac OS X Client, only your homedir is shared for SMB.

I think SharePoints (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12512) could help you out here.
