Hello-

I am looking to buy a G5 iMac or G5 Powermac. I really don't have any prefs on the specs except I have to have a superdrive. Let me know what you have.

EDIT: Hello-

I also have a 12 inch Powerbook specs are:

1.33ghz
1.25 Ram
60 Gig HD
Airport Extreme
Bluetooth
Superdrive
Tiger

Comes w/ everything that you would get brand new. Still under applecare for about 3-4 more months. you can still purchase extra for it. This powerbook is in mint condition. No scratches or anything. I am still looking for a G5 iMac or a G5 Powermac for this. Let me know what you think.

Purchased new from Apple June 2005
Original box, packaging, and documentation; everything you get new at retail.

Hardly used in a clean, smoke-free environment. Was purchased for a project and then only barely needed. I have 2 others that I'm keeping.

i have about $1150 right now to spend and possibly about $200 more by friday so that would be around $1350 to spend on a system. that will help everyone a bit here.

oh so now i figure out that i *can't* post this G5 for sale (in a new thread) since i don't have 100 posts in this forum. that didn't used to be the case.

on the one hand i can see that. but on the other, i read this forum all the time, i just never post.

anyway.. will be posting elsewhere. if anyone comes across this thread and is interested, let me know. thanks.

iMac G5 for $900 (http://macbst.com/index.php?method=showdetails&list=advertisement&rollid=24&fromfromlist=classifiedscategory&fromfrommethod=showhtmllist&fromfromid=12)

On the new hit site, there is a iMac G5 1.6GHz 17" for $900. It has a combo drive, but with what you save, you can buy a as fast or faster drive than the latest PowerMacs.

Just thought I'd share that. :)

5 PowerMac 1.8 2GRam 128MB Graphics Card 80G HD 2 CRTs

2, 20" IBM 260 CRTs showing 30" wide, Optional 200G HD
G5 Power Mac! Excellent computer! Works very well! Less than a year old! Still under 1 year warranty! Still eligible for Extended Apple Care! I'm a professional photographer! Computer was used to manage and enhance digital photos! Very fast! Will open a 200M file in 15 seconds or less. The 128MB ATI Radeon 9600 XT and 2 GIGs of Ram makes this G5 way faster, and with the 2, 20"monitors you get plenty of screen space making it very productive! And, it's a great buy! The 2 monitors, combined, give you 30 inches wide x 12 inches high of screen space. That's very usable and it's a lot more affordable than an Apple 30 inch display! Optional 200 GIG internal HD available for an additional $100.00. Computer will be cleared and will have Apple 10.3.5 Panther software installed with Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop Elements! Buyer pays shipping! Insurance recommended! Shipping will be about $40.00 each, FedEx Ground, for computer and 2 monitors Local buyer may pick up! PayPal or Postal Money Order!

I have a rev. A iMac G5 20". 2g ram, with over 2 yrs applecare left (I bought the 3 yr applecare just a few months ago), with bluetooth. It's in perfect condition, functionally and cosmetically. I even upgraded hdd to a 74g raptor. Are you or anyone else interested? I would sell it for $1100 shipped. I am in Detroit, and a local transaction would be wonderful too. If you prefer, I can take out the hdd and deduce the price a little.
