Mighty Mouse and Marble Blast Gold

I was thinking the other day about how it would be great if we could use the scroll ball on the Mighty Mouse with games like Marble Blast Gold or Goo Ball (great game from Ambrosia Software, you should check it out). Has anyone tried this out? Or is this just a really silly, stupid idea? (yes, I realize that this probably would wear out the scroll ball).

How about the X-Arcade trackball (http://www.xgaming.com/trackball.shtml) instead? I have one...you don't have to worry about it wearing out, that's for sure!
