I find it interesting that Apple has suddenly started using African themes in their new naming schemes.

10.2 = Jaguar
10.3 = Panther
New Browser = Safari

I wonder what the significance is (if any).
Any thoughts?

Aqua is their 'older' name for the OSX interface, and Pixar is releasing 'Finding Nemo,' an underwater animated (soon to be) masterpiece.

Maybe Pixar has a remake of the Lion King in the works? (he he) :)

I don't think they have Jaguars and Panthers in Africa. They do have leopards, cheetas and lions though.

I would say more of a jungle theme then African. I believe that Jaguars are native to South America.

Well damn. Good thing Im an animator and not a zoologist!
